Washington Commanders fans have come to know Terry McLaurin as a standout receiver who consistently produces big numbers on the field. Despite a turbulent quarterback situation last season, McLaurin still managed to have a career year, which earned him his first Pro Bowl selection and a career-high in receiving yards - 1,191 to be exact.

Now, as the Commanders head into the new season with a more settled quarterback situation, with Sam Howell projected to be the starter, fans are optimistic about the team's prospects. But what about McLaurin's prospects?

Many are wondering if McLaurin will level up his game yet again under former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy, who is taking over from Scott Turner. With Tyreek Hill as the 1,000-yard threat in Bieniemy's five-year tenure as offensive coordinator for the Chiefs (not including tight end Travis Kelce), will McLaurin be the "Hill-like" receiver in this offense and get 1,000 receiving yards under Bieniemy?

The hope is high, considering McLaurin's three consecutive seasons of 1,000+ yards in his four-year career. Furthermore, the emergence of Jahan Dotson, Curtis Samuel, and Brian Robinson Jr. will no doubt help the cause. Coupled with Bieniemy's offensive mind, McLaurin could be set for a big year for Washington.

McLaurin's deep-threat ability could also be utilized by Bieniemy, as evidenced by last season's nine receptions of 30+ yards, with six of them being for a 40+ yard gain. With all these factors in play, there is no doubt that McLaurin remains Washington's biggest offensive weapon and is poised to improve on his superb season last year.

So keep an eye out for Terry McLaurin this season - he's sure to be making headlines.
