Now that Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels has expressed his openness to joining any team that drafts him on Thursday night, including the Washington Commanders, what are his thoughts on the potential roster he might join in the DMV?

During an appearance on Night Cap with Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco, Daniels shared his thoughts on his preferred playing destination and specifically addressed the Commanders' receiving duo.

"They got some dogs over there," Daniels remarked when asked about playing for Washington.

"Jahan Dotson...(Terry) McLaurin, man listen, you're going to be in heaven," Ochocinco added. "And I think it's so imperative that you go to the right situation. So you have your receiving corps. Once you got a receiving corps and they (are) able to build around you and you can just be you - I'm not saying it's going to be a breeze, but I just know, I know the work you put in because it shows up on film. So the transition from college to the NFL, it's going to be awesome."

McLaurin has established himself as one of the premier young receivers in the league, consistently surpassing 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

As Daniels remains open to playing for any team and his camp works to convey this message, the tension within the Commanders organization may hopefully be alleviated, potentially paving the way for Daniels to become the franchise quarterback for Washington.
